How we write a verdict instead of a score out of ten
The eight criteria, in the order we actually use them
- Licence. UKGC remote casino permission, licensed domain, legal entity, account number when we can state them accurately. If we cannot verify a field, we omit it.
- Live casino. Studios, exclusives, and whether live is front-of-house or a late tab. This is the spine of the site.
- Game range. Casino-only versus casino-plus-sports, and whether slots crowd out tables.
- Studios. Named suppliers that appear in the lobby, not a claim of "top providers".
- Mobile. Native app versus browser, and whether the live lobby survives on a phone.
- Offer type. Match, spins, or loss-back as a category. No invented pound figures.
- Support. Whether help is reachable from the logged-out site, not a mystery queue.
- Usability. How many clicks from home to a live table, and whether sports navigation hides the casino.
Sources, and what we refuse to invent
We read the operator's UK site, the terms pages that name the licensee, and the Gambling Commission public register. We do not invent licence numbers, user counts, or testimonials. We do not cover payment methods, deposits, withdrawals or payout speeds. Those belong to a payments guide, which this is not.
How often entries are re-checked
The five operators on this site are re-read when we change the page and at least when a licence fact is challenged. "Last checked" is a date, not a promise that the live lobby is frozen. Lobbies move. If you spot a dead fact, use corrections.
Commercial relationships
Affiliate funding can change card order. It cannot change a UKGC account number. The editorial desk and the affiliate links are the same small site, which is why the disclosure sits next to the cards rather than in a footer nobody reads. Detail: affiliate disclosure and editorial policy.
Spin Trading Room does not run games, take bets, or hold customer funds. It is not a trading platform.
