What Spin Trading Room is, and what the name is not
Spin Trading Room is an independent, affiliate-funded comparison of UK-licensed online casinos. It is not a trading platform, not a tips desk, not a bookmaker, and not a place to open an account or play a game. Despite the name, nothing here is financial trading advice, and we do not handle money.
We are not an operator, not a regulator, and not owned by any listed brand. We review and compare. We do not run games.

How this page is built
How we compare operators
Scores on this site are not numbers. Each operator gets a short verdict sentence that states the deciding live-casino point, plus a supporting table across eight checkable criteria: UKGC licence, game range, live casino, mobile app, game studios, welcome-offer type, customer support, and overall usability. We do not score payment methods, deposits, withdrawals or payout speeds, because this is a reviews site, not a payments guide.
Placement on the page can be influenced by commercial relationships. The written assessment still has to be defensible against the operator's public site and the UKGC register. Read the full method on How we rate.
How affiliate funding works here
If you follow an outbound link and later register, the operator's affiliate programme may pay this site a commission. That fee comes from the operator, never from you. It can affect the order of cards. It does not buy a licence claim, a fake score, or a promise of winnings. The full wording lives on the affiliate disclosure.
Live dealer, operator by operator
A narrative comparison of the live floors
Start with the two sites that share a licensee. LeoVegas and BetMGM both sit under LeoVegas Gaming PLC (UKGC account 39198). The live products are not copies of each other. LeoVegas still feels like the mobile-first casino that spent years deepening Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech, Stakelogic and OnAir tables, including branded exclusive rooms. BetMGM uses the same licence and a Vegas-facing live floor: MGM-labelled exclusives, a heavier game-show shelf, and production that reads as a floor rather than a software tab.
Live tables are the spine of this comparison, not a decorative extra.
DragonBet is the other shape of operator: a Cardiff company, DragonBet Ltd (account 64908), licensed for remote casino only since July 2024. The site still leads with racing and rugby. Live blackjack and roulette are present, fed by mainstream studios, but the lobby is compact and new. If you want a produced exclusive table, you will not find LeoVegas-scale depth here. If you want a bilingual Welsh-English bookmaker that added a casino room, you will.
Play Magical is a themed casino skin on ProgressPlay Limited (account 39335). The live section is a shared Evolution-style lobby rather than a house studio. Slots take more of the homepage than dealers do. The licensee has been subject to UKGC enforcement, which is a matter of public record and worth reading on the Commission site before you register anywhere on that network.
Ken Howells is Targetlocal Limited (account 422), a family bookmaker from Ammanford that added a remote casino licence in 2024. The live room exists on an EveryMatrix-powered site: roulette and blackjack, not an exclusive studio. The rest of the product still behaves like a racing shop that learned the internet, which is the honest trade-off against the two group brands at the top of this set.
The short version: for live-dealer range and exclusives, LeoVegas and BetMGM are the serious pair. DragonBet and Ken Howells are bookmakers with a live tab. Play Magical is a slots-led network brand with a familiar shared floor. The table below is the same judgement in columns.
We treat live roulette depth as a proxy for how seriously an operator funds the floor.
Supporting summary: live dealer against the other criteria
This is the compact table. The full eight-criteria grid, with notes under each cell, is on the comparison page.
The cards below include sponsored links. If you click through and register, we may be paid. That commercial relationship can influence placement. It does not change the licence facts, and it does not make this site a party to any bet. 18+. Terms apply on the operator's site.
The five operators
Operator notes, with live dealer as the deciding line
LeoVegas
leovegas.co.uk
LeoVegas built the UK site around mobile play, then spent years deepening the live casino instead of treating dealers as a leftover tab. The lobby is fed by Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech, Stakelogic and OnAir, and it includes branded exclusive tables rather than a generic shared stream.
The live lobby here is the one we use as the yardstick.

DragonBet
dragonbet.co.uk
DragonBet is a Cardiff operator that still reads as a Welsh bookmaker first: bilingual pages, rugby and racing in the foreground, casino as a second room. Live blackjack and roulette are there, from mainstream studios, but the floor is smaller and newer than the group brands in this set.
Live tables cover the basics; the sportsbook still sets the tone.

Play Magical

Play Magical is a themed casino skin on the ProgressPlay network, so the live section is a shared Evolution-style lobby rather than a branded studio of its own. Slots take more of the homepage than tables do. The licensee, ProgressPlay Limited, has been subject to UKGC enforcement; read the public register before you decide.

Ken Howells
kenhowells.com
Ken Howells is a family bookmaker from Ammanford that added a remote casino licence in 2024, so the live dealer room is a late arrival on an EveryMatrix-powered site. You will find roulette and blackjack, not an exclusive studio, and the rest of the product still behaves like a racing shop that moved online.

BetMGM
betmgm.co.uk
BetMGM UK is the MGM name on the same LeoVegas Gaming PLC licence as LeoVegas, and it leans harder into Vegas-branded live tables and game shows. Where LeoVegas feels like a mobile casino with a serious live room, BetMGM feels like a produced floor with exclusives labelled MGM.

Questions, grouped by when you would ask them
Before you register
No. We are a commercial comparison site. The UK Gambling Commission licenses operators; we do not. If a page ever sounded official, that would be a failure of our copy, not a hidden status.
Open the UKGC public register, search the domain or the account number on the card, and confirm the activity list includes remote casino. If the domain is missing, walk away.
While you are looking at a live lobby
Studio names, whether any tables are labelled as exclusives, and whether blackjack, roulette and game shows are all present or only a thin roulette row. A long list of identically streamed tables is not the same as a branded room.
They are a marketing product with wagering rules, game weighting and time limits. We describe offer type, not a headline figure you should chase. Read the operator's own terms before you opt in. There is no such thing as free money from a bonus.
After you have an account
Use the operator's deposit limits and time-outs first if you still have control. For a UK-wide block, register with GamStop. Talk to GamCare if the habit is getting ahead of you.
No. We cannot see your balance, reset a password, or argue a bet. Write to the operator. If you need this site, use the contact page for errors in our copy only.
Spin Trading Room does not provide gambling services. Playing casino games costs money. Outcomes are determined by chance. If gambling stops being entertainment, stop and use the resources in Safety & Support.
